Lee Yong Yee, a Kuala Lumpur native, discovered her musical passion early in life. At the age of 16, she embarked on her musical journey by immersing herself in the world of piano. Under the tutelage of Coach Sindi, she not only mastered the piano but also delved into the enchanting realm of the ukulele, expanding her musical repertoire.

Yong Yee’s dedication to her craft led her to pursue examinations with ABRSM for piano and theory, and Rock School exams for the ukulele. Furthermore, as an avid ukulele enthusiast, she actively participated in Ideal Music’s internal exams, continuously refining her skills and deepening her musical understanding.

Beyond her own musical pursuits, Yong Yee shares her passion and expertise as a ukulele teacher, inspiring others to discover the joy of music. Her commitment to music education is reflected in her role as a dedicated instructor, nurturing the talents of aspiring musicians with patience and enthusiasm.

Over the years, Yong Yee has graced numerous stages with soulful solo performances on both piano and ukulele, captivating audiences with her performance. Notably, in 2019, she showcased her talent in a piano solo performance titled “Uncover Talent” at the esteemed Grand Millennium Hotel.

In addition to her solo endeavors, Yong Yee’s musical prowess shines through in her achievements in ukulele competitions. From 2020 to 2023, she clinched the silver and bronze awards in ukulele competitions held at PPMUM, earning recognition for her exceptional skill and dedication to the instrument.

As a multifaceted musician and devoted ukulele teacher, Lee Yong Yee continues to inspire and uplift others with her passion for music, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encounters.
