Chong Hoe Yeu, born and raised in Ipoh, Perak, embarked on his musical journey at the age of 8 with his first piano lesson. Demonstrating exceptional talent, he achieved Distinction in Grade 8 Piano and Theory before completing his secondary education. Hoe Yeu further honed his skills at the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA), where he earned a Diploma in Music.

During his time at MIA, Hoe Yeu showcased his leadership and musical prowess as the president of the MIA Men’s Chorus, participating in numerous performances. His passion for music led him to Singapore, where he dedicated four years to teaching music, enriching the lives of his students with his expertise.

Currently, Hoe Yeu is a Piano and Theory coach at Ideal Music. He is also an active member of a team specializing in instrumental performances across Ipoh, performing at notable venues such as airports and hotels. His commitment to music education and performance continues to inspire and captivate audiences and students alike.
