Ang Mun Yoke (Mindy) is a versatile and passionate musician whose artistry bridges both piano and vocal performance. A Music Degree graduate from SEGi College Subang Jaya, she has built a dynamic presence in the music scene—not only as a pianist, but also as an expressive vocalist who brings depth and emotion to every performance.
During her time in college, Mun Yoke took on a key leadership role as President of the SEGi College Music Student Ensemble, where she successfully organized and led concerts and collaborative productions. Her ability to combine musical direction with performance has shaped her into a well-rounded artist who understands both the stage and the people behind it.
As a performer, Mun Yoke has actively participated in numerous competitions, showcasing her talents in both piano and vocal settings. Her achievements include a Gold Award at the Asia Pacific Arts Festival 2018 (Piano Category) and 1st Runner-Up in the Step4work Talent Competition 2019. Beyond competitions, she was also invited as a guest performer at the Malaysia Aglow Arts Festival, further highlighting her growing recognition in the industry.
Her vocal journey continues to flourish as a member of the YoungChoral Choir, where she engages in various productions that refine her ensemble singing, vocal blending, and stage expression. Through choral and solo experiences, she has developed a strong appreciation for vocal artistry, emphasizing communication, storytelling, and emotional connection with the audience.
In addition to performing, Mun Yoke is a dedicated piano educator who is deeply committed to nurturing each student’s unique musical voice. Her excellence in teaching has been internationally recognised through the Teacher’s Achievement Award from the Taiwan 6th International Classical and Traditional Music Competition 2024, the Kunstvoll Atrium Event Piano Competition & Festival 2025, and the Graceful Piano International Competition & Festival 2025.
Believing that every student simply needs the right platform to grow, Mun Yoke actively encourages participation in performances and competitions. She is passionate about helping students build confidence, stage presence, and artistic identity—whether through piano or vocal expression. As both a mentor and performer, she strives to inspire the next generation to discover joy, courage, and meaning through music.
